Carole Haslock has spent most of her life in artistic pursuits. After earning a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Wayne State University, she taught high school art in the Detroit metropolitan area. Her medium is primarily pastel; however, she also works in watercolor and colored pencil. Since her retirement from teaching she can devote more time and energy to her painting. She splits her time between Colorado and Arizona and her travels have produced a variety of visual impressions. Carole's subjects focus on florals, landscapes and the interplay of architecture and the elements of nature. Her love of color and the vibrancy of the pastels are an exciting blend and evident in her paintings.

Carole is a signature member of the Pastel Society of Colorado and her paintings have been juried into many national and international shows. Her work is shown in Estes Park and Loveland, Colorado, Green Valley and Tubac, Arizona and are in private collections throughout the United States.
